Original Drugstore
photographs from approximately 1910-1925
Photographs are 5"x7"

I purchased all of these at the same time approximately 20 years ago, I paid $10 each (price is still on the back of each). These photographs were taken out of a scrapbook as the old glue and paper is still stuck to the backside of each, happily, removing them from the scrapbook didn't cause any damage to the front of the photograph. (The photos may look a little grainy, my photo optimizer program ("Riot" a free program) setting is set so that large photographs only require 70kb which enables faster loading and keeping most of the photographs clarity).

Notice in the first photograph to the left the very fancy tables made of glass so items can be placed inside for viewing while having that Coca-Cola or Dr. Pepper, most likely items were for sale. Great cross merchandising even in that era.

I'm always interested in old interior photographs to look at the advertising, the middle photo shows a drugstore with great advertising signs all over and is dated 1915 on the bottom of the photo. The right photograph is a night time drugstore storefront. Night storefront photographs aren't seen very often!

I have one other great drugstore interior, also from around 1915-1925. As soon as I can find it (many photos are stored in boxes & buried in closets) I will add it to this post. This is one of the great classic, posed Soda Fountain photographs.
